Pardon my newb-ness but what exactly is a cereal box?

The cereal box is small enough to hold just a bunch of cards. It looks about as thick as a couple of boxes of playing cards put together. Pretty cool, I think. Plus they were usually only $10. Topps didn't package them that way last year.
