Just my 2 cents... I think it's just as likely to be real as fake. Unfortunately the potential to fake these cards is always there, and there will always be a little bit of uncertainty when you buy from Ebay sellers. Ever since SPA's have been produced they have had really sick patches, and they chop up multiple "event worn" jerseys from the Rookie Premiere's which makes reebok logos and multi colored patches much more prevalent. It is not uncommon at all to see really sick patches (but not NFL logos) in the non-gold (/25) rookie patch autos. I honestly wouldn't worry about sending that card off to beckett, I know it sounds crazy but the authenticator has less background knowledge than you. Like you, he wasn't there when the card was pulled.... also, there is no database that has a scan of every card to compare the card in question to. I guess he could look really hard at it, just like you can. I realize you want assurance, but atleast you can be assured that if you become overly insecure you can sell it for what you paid considering someone bid right underneath you.

Anyway, sorry for the long read, i was just lurking and used to love SPA patch threads....especially when Newfie was here.

He also 100% feedback since 2005, and has only sold a few higher end cards. I really doubt it's a fake man, I think people are quick to be skeptical.
