Comments: Redemptions for gold relic autos sometimes say “patch,” but judging from the gold Martinez relic I pulled, it’s just plain jersey. Too bad. The card is extra thick, as though they intended to do something special with it, but no patch. It is, however, my lowest numbered card so far, so Case # 3, Box #11 is the new contest box. I still think this will be beat, though.

Comments: It was nice to get a couple of genuinely good boxes, including one fantastic box. By my estimate, the pair balanced the poor boxes almost perfectly. I think I got almost exactly the $1100 in cards I purchased. The good news is that it appears possible to get solid value from this product. The bad news is that it required a Bryce Harper to do it, and I’ve only managed this once in three cases. It doesn’t appear likely to get outlay value without a Harper. With respect to the contest, the lowest numbered card so far appeared in Case #3, Box #11, the Martinez gold auto relic numbered to 25. As I beat that in both other cases, I think we’ll be looking at a win in Case #4 or Case #5. Good luck!
