Wanted to bust some of the new Topps, so I went by my store to pick up some stuff.

The regular Hobby box was full, not one pack bought, and i pulled the Jeter Jersey card below. One hit in the box and i got it, pretty happy. What I was wondering is what that piece of memorabilia in the Jeter is. Its brown, so does anyone have any input?

Out of the one pack of Jumbo i pulled the Papelbon Jersey Card.

It's base Topps, the goodness is in all the base cards

That brown swatch is different. I saw a White Sox relic card pulled yesterday and the swatch was navy blue. Must have been from a seventies throwback jersey.
The yankees don't have throwback uniforms. Must be infield dirt.

When I'm at home I'm often up til 2 or 3am putzing around the house, but here I've been asleep by 10pm but the time difference distorts things since I'm 5 hours behind EST.
I will say, the time difference has helped my ebay activities
