A couple weeks ago I asked the guy @ the LCS to hold a master box of Finest for me if they came in at a price point under $100. I went in today to see what was what, fully expecting pricing to be over the $100 mark. I was okay with it because I wasn't sure what I thought of the product yet anyway. Well, they were priced $95 a master box. So I took my order. Guy at the LCS said they were selling fast (they moved over 2 cases in less than a week which is pretty impressive for a small shop in a small suburb). Anyway, here are some of my results.
Finest Moments Inserts: Jabar Gaffney, Mike Thomas, Peyton Hillis Refractor
Finest Atomic Rookies: Christian Ponder, Mikel Leshoure
Refractors: Austin Collie, Bilal Powell RC, Vincent Brown RC, A.J. Green RC
Hits and numbered cards pictured below:
Niles Paul Auto Jumbo Relic 059/589 & Vincent Brown Auto Patch 320/599
Austin Collie Black Refractor 79/99, Von Miller Xfractor 348/399, DeSean Jackson Xfractor 361/399
I don't know. Even getting a good price still not sure what to make of the set. It just didn't wow me. I should have known better. It is a style of card I generally don't like all that much (all flash and shiny) but I wanted to try a product that was a little higher end than what I had been opening (Topps Jumbo, R&S, Threads).
