So when I go look at completed listings of an item that sold, I click on the item and where it should say "sold for" and then the amount the best offer was for, it still shows the original asking amount as if it sold for that. I have no idea what happened as it never use to do that. I cant find anything in the settings to reset and if I try and ask ebay, the question box isnt near big enough for me to ask as it only lets me type 2 sentences. Anybody? Its driving me nuts!

yeah they don't want people to know. If you want to know how much it sold for you can figure it out by by sorting by highest price. It will fall in between items then you can estimate. Example if it had a BIN for $49.99 when search completed listings it shows up between a $25.00 and $23.64. You now know it sold for about $24 bucks dlvd.
Not sure if that helps but that is how I check now. No way to really turn it off or on.

Higher prices = higher final value fees, lower prices lower final value fees. Ebay has become a greedy corporate hound. So in theory if people think someone paid more, then they will pay more. Driving up prices. I do not think there are any settings you can adjust to fix it. The only Best offer sold prices I can see that are different then the original asking best offer price are the items I actually won.
