I am relatively new to collecting sports cards so I'm not sure what i have here. I have a 2009 Donruss Elite Prime Target Kobe Bryant autograph #'ed 37/39. The card is #2, but i cannot find pricing for it here. I have had a lot of fun checking out the value of the cards i have, but this is the only card i couldn't find. I can find other versions of the card, but nothing is serial numbered to 39 and nothing is autographed. Any advice or thoughts? THANKS!

RE: Kobe bryant donruss elite auto
can you show scans of the card? I did not know that panini released a prime targets card autoed. im assuming this is from a panini promotion such as black box or fathers day, something along those lines.
there is one on ebay, maybe you can contact the seller and see if they have any info on it. I assume you are the one that won the 37/39 kobe on ebay, did the seller not have any info on the card?
My assumption is that it's from the 2009 or 2010 National Convention, but I could be wrong.

Best bet is to upload them to a photo sharing site (photobucket, flickr, imageshack, etc.) and then paste the proper IMG code in here. 3,850+ diff Pistons cards (09-05-2012, 09:57 AM)xstreaminsanity Wrote: Attachments rarely work here. Well, that works, but to post the actual pictures here, flickr isn't as easy as Photobucket. In Flickr, you have to click the Share, choose HTML/BBCode, Large, and then copy and paste the information they give you. Then delete everything (if you wish) other than the IMG code. It would look like this:
FROM: Code: [url=http://www.flickr.com/photos/86724075@N08/7937347868/][img]http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8320/7937347868_3351f0f6f1_b.jpg[/img][/url] TO: Code: [img]http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8320/7937347868_3351f0f6f1_b.jpg[/img] And it would end up like this: 3,850+ diff Pistons cards (09-05-2012, 10:23 AM)xstreaminsanity Wrote: Well, that works, but to post the actual pictures here, flickr isn't as easy as Photobucket. RE: Kobe bryant donruss elite auto
i remember discussing this card a while back on here. many of us think its fake right? on the back it doesnt state anything about being an auto from panini at all! just doesnt look right. i hope you didnt get ripped but if u did get all the info on the guy you can! see if he bought it from someone??
found the old post where we discussed it! i knew it!! i dont know i still am not so sure and the backs of the scans look different. one seems lighter but could be scan?? interesting.... http://www.beckett.com/forums/thread-961717-page-1.html See my bucket organized by sport and then by player or team: http://s174.photobucket.com/user/thump17er/library/Basketball%20Scans?sort=6&page=1 (09-05-2012, 10:28 AM)mrhurtado17 Wrote: i remember discussing this card a while back on here. many of us think its fake right? on the back it doesnt state anything about being an auto from panini at all! just doesnt look right. i hope you didnt get ripped but if u did get all the info on the guy you can! see if he bought it from someone??That was the first thing i noticed that there is nothing on the back to 'verify the authenticity' of the autograph. But what gives me hope is that it is numbered out of 39, and i cannot find a numbered version of this card to 39 leading me to believe one of 2 possible scenarios. Number 1 being it is a fake and someone forged an auto and somehow numbered it? OR that it is a real, but rare card? (i hope? lol) Any thoughts on the serial numbering here? The numbering looks authentic enough. |
