Ouch! I should have waited to put my pick in. I picked box 2 pack 2 and 88 pitches. 2 others after me picked the same pack with 87 and 90 pitches. Oh well. I hope you pull some amazing cards. As always, thanks for the contest.

OMG -- that's brutal. I didn't even notice that. So you'll definitely need Dickey to throw either 88 or 89 pitches, and for the top pack not to fall on someone else's prediction.

Okay, they're here.

Some apologies up front -- I'm very slow in busting. I sleeve, inventory, sort, and clean as I go. Unfortunately, I go out of town tomorrow, returning Tuesday, so it's highly unlikely I'll be able to finish up before I leave. It will be excruciating for me, knowing that there are boxes of Sterling at home to bust.

I'll do the best I can today, though, and will include some photos.
Box #1

Box topper: Jeter/Nunez gold refractor Dual Relic /50
Box #1, pack #1

Jimmy Paredes RC Refractor /199
Matt Moore prospect base
Kelly/Gallo Dual Auto /299
James Harris prospect auto
Hector Noesi RC auto
Alexi Ogando RC relic

Comments: the dual auto is nice. The rest of the pack isn't really noteworthy.

Box #1, Pack #2

Eric Thames RC base
James Harris prospect red refractor 1/1
Aaron Hicks prospect auto
Mychal Givens prospect auto
Marcus Stroman USA relic

Comments: Boom! That was easy. Awesome pack. No, not for sale or trade.

Box #1, pack #3

Jordan Walden RC base
Jameson Taillon prospect base
Kevin Matthews prospect auto
Blake Swihart prospect auto refractor /199
Brady Rodgers USA relic

Comments: The rule is that, after pulling a red refractor, one is not allowed to complain until the next box. Nice Swihart.

Box #1, pack #4

Jose Altuve RC base
Zack Wheeler prospect base
Taylor Jungmann prospect auto
Zach Lee prospect auto gold refractor /50
Tyler Chatwood USA relic

Comments: Call it the Zak Pak. Really sweet gold auto. Hey, I just realized that my first pack had six cards. I guess Topps is having trouble getting rid of the Harris autos.

Box #1, pack #5

Javy Guerra RC purple refractor /10
Robert Stephenson prospect base
Trevor Story prospect auto
Jed Bradley prospect auto
Jordan Walden RC relic

Comments: I love the way the purples look.

You're still in it, though. If the Harper pack lands on a spot nobody picked, Dickey determines the winner.
Box #1, pack #6

Dee Gordon RC base
Trevor Story prospect base
Alex Cobb RC auto
Anthony Rizzo RC auto
Matt Reynolds USA relic

Comments: No parallels! This is a strong candidate for worst pack of the break, and someone did select this pack, so there may be some junk wax in the mail early next week! I do like the Rizzo auto, though.

Box #1 grade: C+

Comments: A red refractor and a purple refractor in the same box is pretty hard to beat. OTOH, they were of poor to weak subjects, so their cash value is pretty modest. I seriously doubt the red Harris is going to be the case hit, but it's still cool, and I definitely got more value than I invested. No Harper yet. Going to work out; be back around 6PM Eastern.

Box #2, box topper: Price/Hellickson dual relic /196

Box #2, pack #1

Danny Duffy RC base
Tyler Goeddel prospect base
Archie Bradley prospect auto
Maikel Cleto RC gold refractor auto /50
Nolan Fontana USA relic

Comments: Wasted a gold auto on Cleto -- ouch. I'm happy to get the Bradley auto, though.

Box #2, pack #2

Al Alburquerque RC refractor /199
Chris Archer prospect base
Irvin/DeJong dual USA auto /299
Keenyn Walker prospect auto
Robert Stephenson prospect auto
Branden Kline USA dual xfractor relic /199

Comments: Not a good pack. I get it -- six cards when a dual auto is inserted. Nothing to scan in this one.

Box #2, pack #3

Aaron Crow RC base
Zack Wheeler prospect refractor /199
Alex White RC auto
Eric Thames RC auto
Zach Britton RC relic

Comments: Wow, that's grim. Clearly the worst pack so far, and unlikely to be beaten. Nobody picked the third pack of the second box, so it's possible I'll be stuck with all this junk wax. Nothing worth scanning. This box is in serious jeopardy, and I blame it on Cleto.
Box #2, pack #4

Craig Kimbrel RC base
Miguel Sano prospect base
Jerry Sands RC auto
Brandon Beachy refractor auto /199
Lonnie Chisenhall RC relic

Comments: Nice Beachy refractor auto, but something gummy on the surface. About time for a Harper.

Box #2, pack #5

Julio Teheran RC base
Blake Snell prospect base
Cory Spangenberg prospect auto
Brandon Beachy black refractor auto relic /25
Tyler Naquin USA relic

Comments: Beautiful Beachy relic auto.

Box #2, pack #6

Jacob Turner RC base
Brandon Martin prospect base
Dan Vogelbach prospect auto
Bryan Holaday prospect auto
Deven Marrero USA relic

Comments: Ouch. Two horrible packs in this box.

Box #2 grade: D
Comments: This a pretty low D. The Beachy black auto relic is a sweet card, but I think the next best card in the box is the Bradley base auto. The Cleto gold auto is not as good as it looks. I got waxed on this box. Looking for a Harper in box #3.

Box #3, pack #1

Javy Guerra RC base
Jarrod Parker prospect base
Francisco Lindor prospect auto
Kolten Wong prospect auto
Michael Wacha USA relic

Comments: A couple of solid prospect autos.

Box #3, pack #2

Brandon Beachy RC base
Sonny Gray prospect base
Ben Revere RC auto
Javier Baez prospect auto
Alex White RC relic

Comments: Nothing to scan here.
Box #3, pack #3

Chance Ruffin RC base
Taylor Jungmann prospect base
Lyon/Murphy dual gold refractor USA auto /50
Brandon Nimmo prospect base
Jose Fernandez prospect auto
Blake Snell prospect auto EXCH
Erich Weiss triple USA relic gold refractor /50

Comments: Weird 7 card pack, but the insert USA cards are not much to write home about.

Dickie at 100 pitches through 7. Only 6 contestants had him in triple digits. One contestant picked 119 pitches, which looks to be the best guess at the moment.
Box #3, pack #4

Zach Britton RC base
Cory Spangenberg prospect base
Jemile Weeks RC auto
Michael Fulmer prospect refractor auto /199
Michael Lorenzen USA relic

Comments: Weak pack. Dickie out at 100 pitches, so the tiebreak goes to lridgey. No Harper yet, so it will be interesting!
Box #3, pack #5

Mike Trout RC refractor /199
Kyle Crick prospect auto
George Springer prospect auto
Jeremy Hellickson RC relic

Comments: Here's my weird 4 card makeup pack. Decent base refractor, but not enough for me to get out the camera.

Box #3, pack #6

Hector Noesi RC base
Jameson Taillon prospect refractor /199
Sean Gilmartin prospect auto
Matt Barnes prospect auto
Tom Murphy USA relic

Comments: Depressing box. Only three cards worth scanning, and these are marginal base autos. The parallels were all USA cards.

Box #3 grade: D
Comments: This is an even lower D than the last box.

If Ike were on my fantasy team I'd be apoplectic. He has been awful.
