The 1981 Pittsburgh Steelers police set consists of 16 unnumbered cards which have been listed in the checklist below by the uniform number appearing on the fronts of the cards. The cards measure approximately 2 5/8" by 4 1/8". The set is sponsored by the local police department, the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Kiwanis Club, and Coca-Cola, the last three of which have their logos appearing on the backs of the cards. In addition, "Steelers' Tips" are featured on the back. Card backs have black printing with gold accent on white card stock. This set is very similar to the 1982 Police Steelers set; differences are noted parenthetically in the list below. The set also contains the only trading card of popular Steeler John Banaszak.
