Cards from this set could be cut from boxes of Wheaties cereals in the 1930s and are commonly found mis-cut. Cards from this set could be cut from boxes of Wheaties cereals in the 1930s and are commonly found mis-cut. Each features a blue and white photo of a famous player or coach surrounded by a blue frame border design. The cards are often called "Wheaties FB1" as well as "Fancy Frames." In appearance they are very similar to the 1935 All-Americans issue, except for the player's name written in script on the cardfront. The cardbacks are blank and each measures roughly 6" by 6 1/4" when cut around the frame border. The Benny Friedman and Pop Warner cards are thought to be slightly tougher to find. [Collapse]
