Released in late November 2002, Upper Deck Generations was issued as a 234-card set with UD basketball's first stab at a pack within a pack. Generations breaks down as follows: numbers 1-50 were extra glossy veteran cards, numbers 51-92 are glossy RC cards sequentially numbered to 999, numbers 93-192 feature retired players on non-glossy cardboard, and cards 193-234 feature both single and dual player cards, both rookie year players and retired veterans. Cards 193-234 are sequentially numbered to 999. Generations was packaged in 18-pack boxes where packs contained five cards and carried a suggested retail price of $4.99. [Collapse]
