This 165 card series one set was released in July, 2003. The 175 card series two set was released several months later in February, 204. These cards were issued in eight-card packs which came 20 packs to a box and 10 boxes to a case. Cards number 1 through 120 feature veterans. These cards were issued in eight-card packs which came 20 packs to a box and 10 boxes to a case. Cards number 1 through 120 feature veterans. Please note that 15 of these cards were issued with variations and we have notated the differences in these cards in our checklist. Cards number 121 through 130 feature propsects who were about ready to jump into the majors. Cards numbered 131 through 144 feature some players in their first year of cards. Card number number 145 features Louis Sockalexis who was supposedly the player the Cleveland Indians named their team in honor of. (This supposition has been buttressed by recently redisovered newspaper clippings from 1897). Cards numbered 146 to 150 feature various "reprints" of some of the tougher T-205 cards. Also randomly inserted in packs were cards featuring "repurchased" tobacco cards. Those cards were inserted at a stated rate of one in 336 for 1st series cards and one in 295 for second series cards. The second series featured the following subsets: T205 Reprints from cards 151 through 154, retired players from card 155 through 160; prospects from cards 161 through 169. First year players from cards 170 through 192. In addition, 10 players had 2 variations in the second series and we have notated this information along with some players who were issued in shorter quantity we have put an SP next to that player's name.
