As a last minute addition to their Rookie Update brand, Upper Deck added a total of 50 Ichiro Suzuki Rookie Cards into packs. The 50 cards are an assortion from SP Authentic, SPx, Sweet Spot and UD Reserve. Each of the SPx, SP Authentic and Sweet Spot cards have their original serial-numbering, as well as an additional hand numbering by Upper Deck coupled with a serial-numbered hologram on back and an accompanying 2 1/2" by 3" certificate of authenticity of which carries a matching hologram number. Unlike the other cards from this set, the UD Reserve cards were not repurchased from the secondary market and do not carry any type of serial-numbered hologram. Though the original UD Reserve Ichiro cards were serial numbered to 2,500 these BuyBacks, do not carry any factory serial-numbering at all. Collectors who pulled an unnumbered UD Reserve BuyBack Ichiro card were instructed to send it back to Upper Deck for a numbered version. Though the cards are serial numbered cumulatively to 50, representatives at Upper Deck did release actual quantities of each card used for this promotion. They are as follows: SP Authentic - 16, SPx - 3, Sweet Spot - 4 and UD Reserve - 27. [Collapse]
