This 28-card set of the Reading Phillies Minor League team was produced by Multi-Ad Sports and features color player photos with a photo action shot and a red border. The backs carry player information and career statistics. Young slugger Pat Burrell is featured in this set. He has a card that is almost identical to this one issued in the 1999 Reading Phillies Multi-Ad Update set. The two cards feature identical fronts, but fortunately do differ in the design on the card back. This first card features highlights and awards information packed very tightly into the top half of the card back.
