Produced in perforated booklets, these Brewers cards were supposed to be issued in four sets to fans attending four different Brewers games at Milwaukee County Stadium. Set 1 (1-94) was issued at the April 24 game vs. Kansas City; set 2 (95-188) was issued at the June 26 game vs. Boston. Sets 3 (189-282) and 4 (283-376) were to be issued at later games (August 21 vs. Oakland; September 18 vs. Detroit), but the intervention of the baseball strike postponed their release. All four sets combined would include every player in the Brewers' 25-year history. The perforated booklets measure approximately 13" by 7" and each contains 94 cards; the individual cards measure the standard size. The gold-bordered cards feature on their fronts black-and-white player head shots. The player's name appears in black lettering within a white bar at the bottom. The white back carries the player's name, biography, years with the Brewers, and statistics therefrom. The cards are unnumbered and checklisted below in alphabetical order within each set. The final two series were released early in 1995. [Collapse]
