The 1993 Topps Pre-Production sheet was sent out to give collectors a preview of the design of Topps' 1993 regular issue cards. The sheet measures 8" by 11" and features nine standard-size cards. The fronts feature color action player photos with white borders. The player's name appears in a stripe at the bottom of the picture, and this stripe and two short diagonal stripes at the bottom corners of the picture are team color-coded. The backs are colorful and carry a color head shot, biography, complete statistical information, with a career highlight if space permits. A gray circle with the message "1993 Pre-Production Sample: For General Look Only" is superimposed over the statistical section.
