This set was also issued in a factory set form with no inserts. This set is essentially an extension or second series of the 1991 Pacific Nolan Ryan set and is numbered that way. After the first and second series of Pacific Nolan Ryan Texas Express had sold out, Pacific reissued card numbers 1-220 in 1993, and the cards produced in this reissue may be distinguished by the 27th season logo, which was introduced to collectors in the 30-card 27th Season series.
