1989 Winston-Salem Spirits Star

The 1989 Winston-Salem Spirits set contains 26 standard-size cards. The fronts have posed color player photos, with blue borders on the top portion of the card fading to green as one moves down the card face. In blue print on a pale green background, the backs have biography and statistics. The last four cards have white background on the reverse, and the front borders of the Julio Strauss card fade from blue to white. 5,000 sets produced.
