These balls were originally issued late in 1969 at a cost of 29 cents per ball and were available at most five and dime stores. These "super" balls featured a photo of the player deep inside the ball along with some brief biographical information. We have sequenced this set in order by team. It is presumed a 12th person exists for the Twins, White Sox and A's, any further information on this set is appreciated. The National League Balls seem to be tougher than the American League balls and the Mets, Pilots, Pirates and Cardinal balls seem to be tougher as well.
