This 28-card set of the Seattle ballclub of the Pacific Coast League was distributed to the public as inserts in boxes of popcorn sold at Sicks' Stadium in Seattle. Only one card was inserted per box and measured approximately 2" by 3". The sets were produced by the Seattle ballclub and issued each season from 1954 through 1968. The fronts feature a black-and-white player photo with the player's name and position printed at the bottom. The backs are blank. All of the cards seem to have been cropped from a "premium" 8" by 10". All Popcorn cards may have part of a "premium". The cards are unnumbered and checklisted below in alphabetical order. Uncut sheets of these cards of any year of Seattle Popcorn should go for 1.5X to 2X the sum of any listed cards. All 1954 through 1968 Seattle Popcorn cards are expected to exist in a 8' by 10' "premium" form. All the photos are the same for the players each year but they may be cropped differently. These 8" by 10" single player photos of commons are currently valued at 1.5X to 2X the smaller player photos. [Collapse]
