2020 Phoenix factory set parallel exclusive - jplarson - 10-17-2020

With the 400-card Donruss complete set unavailable, I was doing some searching and found Fanatics is selling a 200-card Phoenix complete set with a special "Fire Burst" parallel for every card.  So this isn't the base set but an entire parallel set.  100 Vets and 100 rookies.

Is Fanatics a sporting goods store?

It sounds familiar, we might have one in the mall the next town over.

If it is I wonder if they sell them in stores.

Are the rookies in their pro uniforms?

jplarson, happy to hear you got your prism Brady. Didn't want the trade dragging that long but was having trouble finding needs.

Yeah I wound up grabbing a box.  I figure this'll fill in for where I would have tried to go for Donruss Optic.

I think they are sold online only.  They do seem to be pro uniforms at least as much as Donruss did, Phoenix Draft Picks was a subset of 2020 Chronicles this year.  Doesn't seem to pay for Panini to release the same product twice with college jerseys.

Good Lord I can't stand the NFL Combine spandex photos.

I would much rather have a college jersey and pro logo or an airbrushed pro jersey card than some stupid spandex photo.

The Okudah RCs look very lame so far.

I looked at them and considered it - but decided that the price was too high

Maybe if the cards were less garish looking (seriously, what is going on with Panini dramatically overloading their card designs this year?) - they are almost as ugly as Mosaic

At least Okudah is in good shape ... it's the linemen rocking the spandex that kill me.
