Updating the collection today with 3 unique Artist Proof cards from 2009-10 Upper Deck O-Pee-Chee Premier:




I had seen old eBay listings for some of these cards over 10+ years ago, but never did I ever think more than one of these would turnup for sale again all these years later. I know there are more out there to chase, but it's a group of cards on my wantlist that I put there realistically thinking I'd never take them off, so to add 3 of them in one deal is a big deal for me.

As for the history of these cards, I'm really not sure. I know they would have come from an uncut sheet at some point, but where or when these were released still remains a mystery to me.

I know the uncut Artist Proof sheets from 2009-10 The Cup were released as redemptions inside the product, but I am unaware how these O-Pee-Chee Premier sheets would have been circulated - or if they weren't meant to be released at all. These types of oddball pickups with a mysterious backstory is super cool to me.

Thanks! Yes, these proofs were approved and they were made into patch cards. I have pictures of the complete versions on my website in the 2009-2010 section if you want to have a look at them.

Just an amazing card all around. I really enjoy the design, and stick nameplate cards are some of the coolest memorabilia pieces out there. Happy to have landed another for the collection!

I believe this was from a Reebok Premier 3 stick Enroth used with the Buffalo Sabres in 2010, as the stamping matches up with some pictures I've seen before.

Crossed another card off the wantlist this week with another card from Final Vault:

2010-11 Between The Pipes Masked Men Silver (15-16 ITG Final Vualt Silver Stamp 1 of 5)


It's been a blast tracking down these Masked Men stamp variations over the years. In total, this is my 34th Final Vault card in the collection. Enjoy!

Updating the PC today with another 1/1 printing plate from 2009-10 The Cup. This Collector's Choice Magenta plate is the 21st rookie-year plate from The Cup in my collection.

Out of the 60 Enroth Rookie Masterpieces plates released in that product, that's not too bad. There is also another Enroth collector out there from many years ago who still owns 21 plates as well in their extensive collection too, hence why these plates from 2009-10 The Cup have been tough to find over the years.

As luck would have it, yet another 2009-10 Upper Deck The Cup Rookie Masterpieces Printing Plate was added to the collection this week. Awesome!

This autographed Black Printing Plate is from the O-Pee-Chee Premier autographed memorabilia set and it looks awesome. Just one more plate (cyan) from finsihing the rainbow!

This is the 22nd rookie-year plate from The Cup and my 72nd 1/1 card in my collection.
