OT: Need Help
I really have confidence in my fantasy team this year but a lot of the guys in my league say my team is 'whack' and will finish last for sure. Is there something I'm missing? Is my team that bad?
QB: Tom Brady
RB: Adrian Peterson
RB: Beanie Wells
RB/WR: Sidney Rice
WR: Greg Jennings
WR: Devin Hester
TE: Dallas Clark
D/ST: Eagles
K: Jay Feeley
BE: Steve Breaston
BE: Daniel Thomas
BE: Matthew Stafford
BE: Lions D/ST
BE: Tony Gonzalez
BE: Phil Dawson
BE: Danny Woodhead

outside of Devin Hester, you've got a solid team there ..... I'd chaulk it up to "smack talk" and stupidity

A backup defense AND kicker? Get rid of those and stock up on RBs and WRs

Honestly, I think you're probably going to finish in the middle. Wells has be getting better, but he is going to have down weeks. Hester is a weak spot, but even Breaston is a #2 guy and with Cassel possibly being out at the start of the year he might not have good numbers. Also, I'm not really sold on Rice. He is coming off an injury year and is now in Seattle where their QB situation could only get worse as the season goes on.
I drafted a few teams, but this is my favorite (I play on yahoo):
QB - Matt Ryan
RB - Rashard Mendenhall
RB - LeSean McCoy
WR - Hakeem Nicks
WR - Miles Austin
WR - Marques Colston
TE - Vernon Davis
K - Matt Bryant
DEF - NYG
Bench:
Sam Bradford
Marshawn Lynch
Michael Crabtree
Nate Washington
Lance Kendricks
SD DEF

You said you weren't gonna drop the 2nd defense... is it manditory to have 2 defenses? If not, then it is truly wasting a spot on yout bench for a scoring player.
You should only keep one, and go with it until they go on their bye. At that point, you need to decide whether to just pick up a team for that week (and there will be one available), or to drop your existing defense and run with the new defense for the rest of the season.
So, seriously consider dropping the unused D from your roster, and play Wells and Hester as little as possible. Hester is a prime example of a player who could have been on your roster instead of a 2nd D.
You are already missed
