The product came seven cards per pack, 32 packs per box and six boxes per case. The original suggested retail price per pack was $3.99 and the product was available only through hobby outlets. At the time it was announced that SP Racing was the lowest produced SP product across the 5 major sports that have that brand. Also, SP was delayed a month from its original release date so that it could include a special Comebacks Hologram insert card of Ernie Irvan and Michael Jordan.
