1994 Press Pass Optima XL

This 64-card set was the first time Press Pass issued cards under the Optima XL brand name. The cards are larger than the standard card, measuring 2 1/2" x 4 11/16". There are seven topical subsets that combine to make up the entire set. There are seven topical subsets that combine to make up the entire set. There is one known variation. The number 43 Teresa Earnhardt card was originally printed with a picture of both Teresa and Dale. Early in the production the card was changed to be a picture of Teresa. The set price only includes the common version. The cards were issued in six card packs which came 24 packs per box and 20 boxes per case. There was also a two-card insert set known as Chrome featuring Jeff Gordon and Ernie Irvan. The cards were printed embossed on silver foil and inserted one per 240 packs. [Collapse]
