This 212-card set was the first "super premium" racing set produced. Factory sets were available through Maxx dealers and Maxx's mail order program. It was also available in eight-card foil packs. Insert cards of the Maxx Mascot and the Maxx Rookie Contenders (1 of 20,000) were included in hobby sets and randomly inserted in foil packs. There is also a version of the Maxx Rookie Contenders card that doesn't have the 1 of 20,000 printed on it.
