It was made available as a mail order set, commonly referred to as the Toolbox set, as a hobby set, and through wax boxes with 48 12-card wax packs, containing ten regular cards, one cover card, and two sticker cards. The set price includes the corrected version of card number 5, Geoff Bodine. A Winston Cup set containing the first one hundred cards of this set was also produced. It was packaged in a yellow box with red checkerboard squares. This set is commonly known as the "Peak" set since it features a picture of Kyle Petty's Peak Antifreeze sponsored car on the box.
