The 1989-90 Masters of Racing set was produced and distributed by TG Racing which used its extensive photo files to produce a history of stock car racing on cards. The 1989 issue (numbers 1-152) was broken down into four series of 38-cards each, with each series featuring a different colored border. The set was sold by series (originally $7.95 each) directly to the card hobby. Part two (numbers 153-262) of the Masters of Racing was released in the summer of 1990 under the title White Gold. The 1990 set was sold in complete factory set form only, not by series. A special Masters of Racing album was produced as well to house the cards. [Collapse]
