Blue-Eyes White Dragon is one of the most iconic cards in Yu-Gi-Oh’s history. A good comparison to Charizard from Pokemon. Needless to say, Blue-Eyes White Dragon is a huge fan favorite.
Like Charizard, it does have multiple versions. Recently, a special promo version from the Dark Duel Stories video game sold for $2,500. A big part of this is the fact that it’s graded a BGS Pristine 10. It’s just one of nine copies of this card to get the Pristine grade.
The $2,500 sale is more than double the amount that a Gem Mint version sold for.
Yu-Gi-Oh is the youngest of the three big games that dominate the TCG world. However, many cards are starting to gain a lot of value in recent years as many collectors are going back to their favorite monsters from when they were kids. So it might be time to start paying a little closer attention to some of those key early cards.
