Yu-Gi-Oh! Burst Protocol Checklist and Set Details

Releasing the first week in February, excitement is building for the latest Yu-Gi-Oh! core booster set – Burst Protocol. Konami has packed in the excitement with themes centering on monsters and the new quick-play spell from the Forbidden Crown card. Adding to the joy of pack ripping, 25 cards are given foil premium variants in Starlight Rares.
Rokket fans, help is on the way. The 100-card booster set includes Rokket support cards from monsters. New link monsters are in play for Borrell fans as well. And, as always, there are dragons galore. Touted by fans, the new set gives powerful new Borrel Link Monsters and expanded Rokket synergies in a balanced release.

Players await their turns on the new Forbidden Crown card. From the Konami website: “The monster chosen by Forbidden Crown gets hit with ALL of these effects for the rest of the turn:
- Its effects are negated.
- It can’t attack.
- It can’t be destroyed.
- It’s unaffected by card effects – except its own.
- It can’t be Tributed, or used as Fusion, Synchro, Xyz, or Link Material.
And finally, neither player can use monster effects in response to the Crown to try and stop it.”
