World Baseball Classic memorabilia cards are coming to select 2017 Topps products. The company has announced some initial plans for relic cards and noted other products where pieces will show up in the months ahead.

2017 Topps Allen and Ginter Baseball has relics from the tournament in a couple of places. WBC Framed Mini Relics are numbered to 10 and exclusive to hobby packs. According to Topps, only top names will be included here.

More plentiful are the full-sized relic cards. The checklist here has 30 names. Each card is numbered to 99 or less.

Topps also plans to include more tournament memorabilia in 2017 Topps Museum Collection and 2017 Topps Dynasty. They’re currently offering on-demand Topps Now WBC cards as well highlighting key moments from games.

These aren’t the first game-used WBC cards from the manufacturer. They used them in a couple of 2009 products. Relics were also a key part of the standalone 2013 Topps Tribute World Baseball Classic release.

I miss the WBC boxed set! Just give me base cards of the top notch tournament players depicted in their WBC country uniforms and I would be happy.

Disappointed bunt doesn’t seem to have WBC cards and topps now is too expensive for me to be collecting those.
