If you’re a card collector, you know all about the journey and the pursuit of treasure, in whatever form brings you satisfaction. Within the hobby are dozens of collecting niches that span sports, eras, card types and all sorts of other specifics.

One of the most popular collecting niches on the global level is Panini’s World Cup soccer stickers. Every four years, millions of packs of stickers are sold around the world. It’s about chasing your local team, making fun of rivals and filling the album. To many, the adrenaline of ripping open a packet and find that last sticker is comparable to what you might get from finding and autographed baseball card of your favorite player.

Got, Got, Need from FourFourTwo Films is a 20-minute documentary from that charts the history and global appeal these stickers have. The production team also heads to Panini’s headquarters in Italy to see how things come together. In doing so, they also get to the heart of collecting.
