A quad injury may slow down Caitlin Clark on the hardwood temporarily, but the short pause on what is sure to be a long and amazing career has kept collectors hunting for her cards. Of the many cards on the market bearing her image, a popular version is Clark’s 2023-24 Bowman Chrome University. Topps gave collectors a lot to chase in this set.
While in college at the University of Iowa, Clark left the women’s college game as one of the most decorated student-athletes in any sport. The two-time Associated Press Player of the Year (2023, 2024) already has her No. 22 jersey retired in Iowa City.
Indiana Fever had the top pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft selecting Clark, and she surpassed expectations. Clark flirted with averaging a double-double during her rookie season, posting 19.2 points per game and 8.4 assists. Earning a spot on the WNBA All-Star team and being named Rookie of the Year has only increased her card values.

Before the quad injury that forced Clark to miss her first game since her sophomore year with Dowling Catholic (Des Moines, Iowa), she was posting 19 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 9.3 assists per game.
