Upper Deck makes last call for last year’s O-Pee-Chee wrapper redemption

If you still have wrappers from last year’s O-Pee-Chee Hockey, Upper Deck is telling collectors to get them in for the remaining packs of the wrapper redemption program.

UD also warned collectors to not hold on to 2013-14 OPC wrappers. With the new rookies, these are not expected to last a year.

“We have a unique situation with the 2013-14 Upper Deck NHL Double Rookie Class where we are already seeing a heightened interest in hockey trading card releases,” Upper Deck wrote on its blog. “Given this increased demand, it is highly unlikely the wrapper redemption product for this season will last as long as last season’s did during a lockout.”

The OPC wrapper redemption is only available through Certified Diamond Dealers in Canada. To read more about the program, click here.
