It’s one of the vintage hobby’s most exquisite sets … and also one of the most mysterious. Nearly a century after its release, almost every element of its existence, beyond it’s 50-card size, remains up for debate. The name of the V129 Anonymous series speaks directly to the mystery. No one is certain how or where the set was distributed, or by whom, although it is widely held that the series originated in Ontario – a logical assumption, given that the first 17 cards in the set, a third of the complete run, feature members of the Toronto Maple Leafs….
