Topps prepares exclusive cards for All-Star FanFest

When MLB’s All-Stars converge upon Cincinnati, there will be another show besides the All-Star Game for collectors to check out.
That’s the MLB All-Star FanFest that begins July 10.
As part of the four-day show, Topps will be creating cards solely for the event and creating interactive exhibits for baseball fans who aren’t regular card-buyers to rediscover collecting in a few ways.
A wrapper redemption program will include six cards available just for opening a pack of Topps cards at the company’s booth. The set includes Mike Trout, Clayton Kershaw, Jose Abreu, Brandon Phillips, Joey Votto and Todd Frazier. There is a limit of one card per player per day at the event.
Mascots will be celebrated on cardboard as well with a new Reds mascot card offered daily at the show, while collectors can get themselves on a Topps card at the company booth.
There will be a “Rediscover” Relic that will be given to those who simply bring a Topps card to the company’s both on July 11. These will be limited to one per person. To coincide with the MLB Futures Game on July 12, the company will give away Bowman sample packs.
Lastly, those who buy a 2015 Topps factory set at the event will receive one of six Reds commemorative patch cards — a set that includes Johnny Bench, Joe Morgan, Barry Larkin, Frank Robinson, Tony Perez and Joey Votto.
