Topps preps Blue Wave wrapper redemption for Bowman release

The Blue Wave Refractors are back — and they’re coming with the release of 2013 Bowman next week.

Topps announced on Tuesday the return of the wrapper redemption program, which will get bonus packs into the hands of collectors who send their wrappers back into the company.

This year, there’s a limit of 10 packs per household — with the requirement that they must all be sent at the same time. A collector gets one five-card pack for every 24 hobby, 10 HTA jumbo or 36 retail wrappers. Just like last year, there will be autographs in the packs, while supplies last.

All wrappers must be postmarked after May 8 and sent to:

    So, do the packs you get out of the blaster boxes count as retail, or does retail only pertain to loose packs from retail boxes? I usually prefer to go the blaster box route for the better value and to assure my packs haven’t been sorted through. Looking forward to this release!! Happy collecting all!!

    Does anyone agree with me that Topps new site is terrible. No news on silver slate redemption, no news on release dates, The Red Turnkey program was a joke. Since they eliminated the competitors, they are terrible. I am still waiting for a Brett Cecil Autograph card from 2011. E-mailed them and called never got a response. Am I a select few that this stuff happens to
