Who says a collectible can’t be worn?
Major League Baseball and Tommy Bahama have teamed up to produce “Collector’s Edition” shirts for six teams this year with the first arriving this week.
The first team is the American League champion Texas Rangers, and they will be sold at an unveiling party Thursday in Dallas at the Galleria beginning at 5 p.m.
The limited-edition shirts will cost $250, and each is numbered and includes a Tommy Bahama certificate. While the first 50 fans who buy a shirt at the event will receive an additional Rangers gift, they also will be available at www.tommybahama.com. Fans interested in attending are asked to RSVP at (214) 540-8628 to secure a spot on the guest list.
