The moment he signed with the Mets, you knew it was going to happen. It was just a matter of where the first Tim Tebow baseball cards would show up. The answer appears to be 2016 Leaf Metal Draft Baseball.

Leaf has announced they’ve added Tim Tebow autographs to the checklist.

The 2007 Heisman Trophy winner made a Michael Jordan-esque career change. After some very public tryouts, the New York Mets signed Tebow. He got his first real taste of pro ball during Arizona Fall League action.

This tweet pretty much sums it up:

Although Topps hasn’t announced anything, it’s possible that Tebow could appear in a future Bowman product — potentially 2016 Bowman Draft or 2017 Bowman Baseball. The precedent has been set over the past couple of years with baseball cards of Russell Wilson, Johnny Manziel.

2016 Leaf Metal Draft is scheduled to release in December.

I hope Tebow does good and makes it. All the hate he received was not cool. A more than half way decent quarterback and a proven leader. Stay strong

He would still be the best QB on the Browns, I’m shocked they haven’t called him. Winning is winning, who cares about his throwing motion … yeah, because Philip Rivers sidearming the ball doesn’t look weird or anything. I personally am rooting for the guy. This world needs more good people like him.
