SCP Auctions calls this “the most sought-after miscut card in the hobby,” and really, who could argue that?

This miscut 1952 Topps #312 Jackie Robinson also features a partial look at the card next to it on the sheet – #311 Mickey Mantle. CSG graded it a 1 Poor because of the obvious miscut condition of the card – cool factor aside – and the fact that someone during the last 71 years wrote Jackie’s jersey number 42 in ink near his name. CSG did add “Partial #311 Mickey Mantle” on the label.

Previously, the same copy of the card had been graded a 1 by SGC.

The card appears in SCP’s 2023 February’s Finest Auction that opened January 25 and closes February 4. After one day, the card already had received two bids and was closing in on $30,000.
