The Deflategate Football Card of the Day™ is …
By Chris Olds | Beckett Sports Card Monthly Editor | Commentary
As an NFL coach, Bill Belichick doesn’t have too many football cards — and he doesn’t have any game-used memorabilia cards.
But this Tom Brady 2002 Absolute Memorabilia game-used football card?
Well, it just feels special today, doesn’t it? It’s our Deflategate Football Card of the Day™ … and it’s awesome.
Tell us what you think of the card in the comments below.

The ball in his hands doesn’t look official or to be regulation size on the card.
Bill 3 time offender. Spygate, Ramgate, and Deflategate. Please have a opposing viewpoint card of the Sea hawks so we all can remember they play against the Pats. I almost forgot. It must feel really good to fly so far under the radar. It’s so odd to have minimalized reports on what they’re doing.
I can’t stand how anything related to scandal, any scandal of any kind, has the suffix “-gate” to it. It’s so uninspiring and uncreative and so dated. I heard someone refer to this deflated ball scandal as “Ballghazi”. I definitely think I like that one better than “Deflategate”
I agree “gate” is weak — it gets used way too often in card-world conspiracies. But that’s what many are calling this.
However, at the same time, the other phrase was a “no” to me because it evokes something where people died:

Never been a fan of “game used” football pieces…they died for a reason…(Topps Prime doesn’t count)
The one I heard that made me laugh was “DE-FLATE-TRIOTS”
