University of Texas and USA Softball star Cat Osterman will have her first widely distributed trading card in the upcoming Donruss Elite Extra Edition, which hits hobby shops on Nov. 19.

But she’s definitely not the only noteworthy addition to the set.

Several key prospects — from a few sports — will have autographed cards in the set licensed by the Collegiate Licensing Company, including NBA rookies Derrick Rose, Michael Beasley and O.J. Mayo.

Sure, the NBA players have other autographed cards on the market — and Osterman has had a few cardboard appearances in USA Softball sets and an issue of Sports Illustrated for Kids — but these additions to an already strong prospect product should draw in collectors who might not typically buy baseball cards. And collectors who focus more on school ties will find plenty of surprises with the Collegiate Patches autograph cards (like last year’s set) as well as other college-themed inserts.

Among the top baseball prospects will be Georgia Star Gordon Beckham (Chicago White Sox) and Florida State star Buster Posey (San Francisco Giants) along with future Baltimore Orioles catcher Matt Wieters.

Others will include top Detroit Tigers pitching prospect Rick Porcello, Brewers prospect Jose Duran, Stanford star Sean Ratliff (Mets), Texas star Kyle Russell (Dodgers), Juan Carlos Sulbaran (Reds) and Rafael Rodriguez (Giants) as well as Neftali Feliz, Isaac Galloway, Ike Davis, Logan Morrison, Michael Taylor, Caleb Gindl, Mat Gamel, Wilmer Flores, Bryan Petersen, Allan Dykstra, Ryan Perry, Tyler Ladendorf, Michel Inoa, Xavier Avery, Anthony Gose, Jordan Danks, Shooter Hunt and Chase D’Arnaud.

Packs will carry a suggested retail price of $5 and each 20-pack box will include four autographs.
