Steiner Sports Names Sean Mahoney Executive Vice President of Sales

By Ryan Cracknell | Hobby Editor

Steiner Sports has a new head of sales. The memorabilia company has promoted Sean Mahoney to Executive Vice President of Sales where he will oversee a variety of areas including ecommerce and auctions.

Mahoney started with Steiner back in 1995 as an intern. Over the past two decades he has worked his way up through the company. Mahoney’s most recent title before this was Vice President where he helped build partnerships between Steiner and such companies as eBay, Amazon and Groupon.

“At Steiner Sports, we are proponents of creating a career-oriented culture,” said Steiner CEO Brandon Steiner. “I have known Sean since he started with the company as a college intern and seeing his growth into a highly-respected industry expert is a true testament to his commitment and passion for this business.”

Mahoney’s promotion comes less than two weeks after Steiner announced its exclusive licensing agreement with Yogi Berra’s family and the hiring of Ed Schauder as Executive Vice President/Licensing & General Counsel.
