Patrick Prickett enjoys collecting vintage cards – in detail. He has written an online article about the photos used to create cards for more than one set. He calls such cards “crossovers.” In the process, Prickett, of Los Angeles, also found several photos referenced by the Topps artists for the 1953 paintings including Willie Mays, Johnny Podres, Bob Feller, Micky Mantle, Whitey Ford, Eddie Mathews, Jackie Robinson, Joe Black and Pee Wee Reese.
