On a day where many could be talking about those excluded from Cooperstown this year, let’s take a second to see who’s included in Cooperstown this year.

You know, Panini America‘s Cooperstown.

The exclusive trading card licensee of the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum offered an in-depth look at some of the inclusions in the forthcoming 2013 Panini Cooperstown, which now arrives on Aug. 28. (Click here for our First Look story from April.)

Among the inclusions will be subsets and inserts that highlight speeches from the past — unlike today’s posthumous-only inductions — as well as artifacts from memorable moments, statistical feats as well as ticket stubs from notable games from the past.

The sophomore release of Cooperstown will include one autograph per box along with a heavy selection of insert cards much like its rookie release last season. Nearly all autographs are signed on-card by the Hall of Famers — a few deceased players are included on stickers — while many notables from the past who hadn’t previously had cardboard appeared on cards for the first time.

Looks like I have a few more Ozzie Smith cards to chase this year! :) Too bad they didn’t do anything with announcers again this year though.
