Pokemon TCG Pocket Best Darkness Decks

The best Darkness decks in Pokémon TCG Pocket have an aggressive playstyle focused on disrupting the opponent’s ability to achieve their desired turns. The two below present two different ways to support this approach.

Option one has been built around a theme of controlling the opponent’s hand and continually interfering with their resources, placing increasing pressure on them without the need for a rush.

The budget alternative has traded away some of the hand-controlling tricks for a more direct path to victory, with quick access to energy and high damage as soon as the build’s primary attacker is established.

Best Pokémon TCG Pocket Darkness Deck: Mega Absol EX Deck

With this deck, you’ll want to troll your opponent early on by making them constantly redraw their hand using Mars and Red Card. Mega Absol ex will be your primary Pokémon here. It’ll continue the discarding shenanigans with its Darkness Claw attack, which will help you keep your opponent from being able to use their Supporter cards effectively.

Best Budget Pokémon TCG Pocket Darkness Deck: Hydreigon Deck

The Hydreigon deck is less tricky than Mega Absol ex, and relies on Hydreigon’s serious damage output and ability to quickly gather energy. The trick here is getting Hydreigon on the field ASAP. Since it’s a Stage 2 Pokémon, you’ll want to use Professor’s Research, Poké Ball, May, and Rare Candy to accelerate the process.
