Pokemon TCG Phantasmal Flames Release Date and Pre-Order Info

The Pokémon Company has announced the release date of Phantasmal Flames, the second expansion in the Mega Evolution block. The set will bring even more Mega Evolution Pokémon ex cards to the game, and is set to piggyback off the next video game, Pokémon Legends: Z-A. As always, if you want a chance to collect Pokémon TCG Phantasmal Flames, you’ll need to keep a close eye on pre-orders, and we’ll discuss which retailers will have them below.
What’s the release date for Pokémon TCG: Phantasmal Flames?
Pokémon TCG Phantasmal Flames will release on November 14, 2025, in the U.S., Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. Players can look forward to checking out the expansion early, starting on November 1 in prerelease tournaments at participating card shops. Those who prefer to experience Pokémon TCG digitally can get started a day early when Phantasmal Flames hits Pokémon TCG Live.
Where can I pre-order Pokémon TCG Phantasmal Flames?

Pre-orders for Pokémon TCG Phantasmal Flames haven’t gone live as of writing, but you’ll want to act fast when they do.
Your best chance to get any Pokémon TCG products at MSRP is ordering from major retailers like:
- Amazon
- GameStop
- Target
- Walmart
However, be aware that third-party sellers can list products on Amazon and Walmart, which will almost definitely be above MSRP. To keep an eye out for when legit listings go live, you’re best off signing up for a stock tracker like NowInStock and making sure you’re already logged into these retailers and have valid payment information on your account. You can also keep an eye out for listings on The Pokémon Center website, but it’s known to have poor bot protection and almost instantly sells out of stock.
More than likely, you’re going to have to pay above MSRP for Phantasmal Flame if you’re not lucky enough to get a pre-order from one of the above retailers. Typically, you’ll find Pokémon TCG products at around 1.5-2x MSRP at launch. However, depending on demand, it can be even more. Your best bet is to find an honest independent retailer that doesn’t price gouge too badly.
