Pokémon TCG EX Legend Maker Checklist: Full LM Set Card List
EX Legend Maker is the 12th expansion in the Pokémon Trading Card Game EX Series and was released in English on February 13, 2006. This set comes directly after the EX Delta Species set and retains the theme reminiscent of the mid-2000’s EX era, but with a reduced set list and a more straightforward theme.
The theme of this set centers around Mirage Forest and the use of Mew with an undertone of ancient Pokémon. Fossil favorites are featured as the holo cards in this set, and Fossil-Type trainers such as Claw Fossil, Mysterious Fossil, and Root Fossil push this theme further.
On the premium side, EX Legend Maker has a three-way chase. Pokémon-ex cards are limited but filled with familiar faces, starting with Arcanine ex, Flygon ex, Mew ex, and Walrein ex. Then comes a set of three Gold Star cards featuring Regice, Regirock, and Registeel, considered the major goal for collectors of this set.
Finally, it passes the 1/92 card numbering system with a Secret Rare Pikachu δ card marked as 93/92.
What to Expect in the Pokémon TCG EX Legend Maker Set
A big part of finishing this set is understanding how the foils are handled. Cards 1–14 are printed as holo rares and show up in two foil treatments, while cards 15–82 can be found as both non-holo and foil versions, which is where most of the master set work comes from. Cards 83–92, which include the Pokémon-ex and the Gold Stars, are locked to a single holo printing.
