Philadelphia Phillies Slugger Kyle Schwarber Continues Tear through MLB Pitching

Since getting the call up with the Chicago Cubs in 2015, one thing Kyle Schwarber has been known for throughout his 11-year MLB career is power. Six times in his career, the LF/DH has hit 30 or more home runs blasting a league leading 46 with the Phillies in 2022. After a big night in a 13-2 trouncing of the Baltimore Orioles, the Philadelphia All-Star is atop two major statistical categories flexing his power at the plate in new ways.
Schwarber hit home runs No. 39 and 40 Monday night taking a two-dinger lead in the National League over Los Angeles’ Shohei Ohtani. One of the power strokes was a grand slam helping Schwarber push out in front in the NL RBI race. Collecting six runs batted in, Schwarber has knocked in 94 on the year, four better than the Mets’ Pete Alonso. The 94 runs knocked in are tops in MLB.

Collectors are responding to the big season Schwarber is producing. On eBay alone, there were 60-plus cards of the slugger sold on Aug. 4. The cards ranged from 2025 Topps Flagship Collection to 2016 rookie cards from Bowman’s Best, Topps Chrome, and Bowman Chrome.
Through an eBay auction, a 2016 Bowman Chrome Green Refractor Auto /99 sold for $130. Topps 2016 base rookie cards were sold for around $3.00.
