Panini America‘s next baseball set will feature a lower suggested-retail price and more on-card autographs than ever for the brand.

It’s 2014 Panini Prizm, and it will include two autographs in every $60 hobby box. At least one of those will be signed directly on the card when it arrives in May.

This year, the autograph rainbow will include Purple (/99), Mojo (/75 or fewer copies), Gold (/10) and 1/1 Black Prizm cards for collectors to chase. USA Baseball Signatures cards will be found in three colors with standard Prizms limited to 25, Golds limited to 10 and Blacks being 1/1 creations.

Every box will include a Prizm parallel in every other pack with three numbered Prizm cards per hobby box. There will be Purple (/99), Blue Mojo (/75), Orange Diecut (/60), Jackie Robinson Tribute (/42), Red (/25), Gold (/10) and 1/1 Black parallels for collectors to chase.

Among the signers for this one will include Manny Machado, Mike Trout, new Hall of Famers Tom Glavine and Greg Maddux, Pedro Martinez, Buster Posey, Clayton Kershaw, Jose Fernandez, Pete Rose, Mariano Rivera and plenty more.

Inserts in this one will be found in every other pack and include Intuition, Diamond Dominance, Golden Leather Die-Cut, Rookie Reign, Chasing the Hall as well as Next Era.

Can’t beat the price/return ratio! That might be enough to get me to buy a box or two (even though it isn’t one of my favorites).

    Wait wait hold them horses!

Are you telling me that it’s possible to deliver quality, shiny, colorful, numbered cards AND multiple autos in PACKS at under $69??

’bout time SOMEONE saw the hobby light!

Not sure bout Quality (no logo’s) Prizm would be better of w team logos and uni’s.
Ever Wonder why the price is where it is. Personally I just wish Mlb would give the 3 guys the rights then we could see what Topps Ud could do.
Auto list is good but no team logos. If the price stays low I would give it a go just because the auto list .
News to Mlb come on wake up .

Is it just me, or anyone else sick of seeing half of a player’s head/helmet, or a typical side view while Panini covers up its lack of an MLB license. The Donruss cards had the same side picture in over 60% of its players. If you don’t have a license-don’t make cards!!

The no logo thing kills it for me. I refuse to buy Panini or Leaf baseball products because of it

WE GET IT! There are no logos. That horse left town a LONG time ago. Doesn’t anybody have something else to say? Golden age didn’t have logos and y’all bought the $#!+ outta that.

Personally, I don’t like past Team USA members showing up on Team USA cards 10 years after the fact. I’d prefer if they kept the Team USA logo reserved for this year’s teams only.

Nice, decent product for the price, unless it is 2012 Prizm football which is outrageous via cost due to Luck and RG3 in the box or possibly being in the box. This looks improved for sure, I wonder what the base looks like. I hate that they don’t have the damn logos on there, kinda stupid, would be nice if politics and money were not involved or the collectors the people that count could enjoy the product more
